Through the Drishti Mitra Project, girls from remote villages—who previously worked as agricultural laborers or in factories after completing their class 12—are now being trained in basic nursing and eye care. This initiative not only empowers them with dignified employment but also strengthens the rural healthcare system by enabling them to assist in eye screenings, patient support, and treatment, ultimately benefiting lakhs of visually impaired individuals.
