Blindness is more painful than death
Let us think what life would be like if the light of our eyes were gone. 80% of our work will becomeimpossible for us and life will seem like it has stopped. Our Life will become more painful than death. Today 1 crore people in India and 6 Lakh people in Gujarat are blind.Out of 100-80 diseases can be treated and people could have been saved from this problem byproviding proper treatment on time. Even today there are 66 to 70% of these people whose vision can berestored with optimal eye care and when they do get new vision,then they feel as if they have got a new life So let us together give a new life to lakhs of people suffering from such blindness in our country which has already started from Supa village under the project vision.
Inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s ideas of patriotism and social service through Project Drishti, 80% of people who have lost their vision due to lack of money, awareness and fear, we bring back their vision through best eye treatment and with new vision they will become self reliant, it will bring happiness andnew life in them and their family, We provide a dignified life to the remaining 20% people whose vision cannot be restored by making them economically self-reliant through educational and vocational training.
