Cancellation & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Swami Vivekanand Netra Mandir Trust (SVNM Trust). Your generous contributions enable us to provide free eye screenings, vision correction, cataract surgeries, awareness programs, and support for visually impaired individuals.

As a registered charitable trust, we are committed to maintaining complete transparency in the utilization of donations.

1. Donation Cancellation

All donations made through the SVNM Trust website are voluntary and intended to support our charitable activities. Once a donation has been successfully processed, it cannot normally be cancelled.

2. Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable because the funds are allocated promptly to our ongoing healthcare and community welfare initiatives.

However, a refund request may be considered in the following exceptional situations:

• Duplicate payment due to a technical error.
• Incorrect donation amount entered accidentally.
• Unauthorized or fraudulent transaction verified by the payment gateway or bank.
• Any genuine transaction error approved by SVNM Trust after verification.

3. Refund Request Procedure

If you believe your donation qualifies for a refund, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction.

Please include:

• Donor Name
• Registered Email Address
• Mobile Number
• Transaction ID / Payment Reference Number
• Date and Amount of Donation
• Reason for Refund Request
• Screenshot or Proof of Payment (if available)

4. Refund Processing

After receiving your request:

• Our team will review the transaction details.
• Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
• Processing generally takes 7–15 business days, depending on the payment gateway and banking institution.

5. Failed or Pending Transactions

If your account has been debited but the donation was not successfully completed:

• The payment gateway or your bank may automatically reverse the transaction within their standard processing period.
• If the amount is not credited back within the expected timeframe, please contact us with your transaction details for assistance.

6. Tax Benefit Implications

If an official donation receipt or tax exemption certificate has already been issued for a refunded donation, the donor may be required to return or invalidate the certificate before the refund is processed.

7. Changes to This Policy

SVNM Trust reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will be published on this page and become effective immediately upon posting.
